A certified translation, also known as authenticated translation, is performed by a sworn translator who has the status of a civil servant. After passing the state examination, the translator is sworn in at the Ministry of Justice and acquires the authority to certify the veracity of documents and signatures.
Unlike an ordinary translation, which is usually in electronic form, a certified translation takes the form of a hard copy, which is stamped on each page and signed by the sworn translator who has translated the document. A certification clause is placed on the last page of the translation. This is how your document becomes official.
